Abstract: The research examines the impact of age diversity on adult education programs. This study aimed to explore how the inclusion of diverse age groups in adult education programs affects learning outcomes and program dynamics. The objectives were to assess the benefits of age diversity in enhancing learning experiences, to evaluate the challenges associated with managing diverse age groups, and to identify strategies for optimizing the effectiveness of age-diverse educational settings. A survey research design was employed to collect data from adult education programs with varied age demographics, as it allows for the analysis of different age groups' interactions and learning outcomes. A sample size of 350 participants, including younger and older adult learners, was selected to ensure a representative understanding of age diversity impacts. The purposive sampling technique was used to focus on programs with notable age diversity. The case study was conducted in Cross River, Nigeria, where age diversity is prominent in adult education programs. Findings revealed that age diversity enriched learning experiences by fostering diverse perspectives and knowledge sharing, though it also presented challenges such as varying learning paces and generational differences. The study recommended implementing strategies to address these challenges and leverage the benefits of age diversity to enhance educational outcomes.
